A Backflow Prevention Device (BPD) for containment protection must be provided on the water supply connection to:

All industrial/commercial properties regardless of the water service size |

All residential properties serviced by a 32mm or larger water supply |
 |
Any other premises that require containment protection |
The selection of the BPD and the installation shall be in accordance with the Plumbing Standard Regulations. We can design, install and service all makes of BPD’s. All work is carried out by accredited plumbers.
BACKFLOW PREVENTION VALVES
DUCV - recommended for usage for low hazards when any condition, device or practice which in connection with the potable water supply system would constitute a nuisance but not endanger health or cause injury.
DCV - a medium hazard valve for any condition, device or practice which in connection with the potable water supply system has the Potential To Endanger Health.
RPZD - is recommended for high hazard usage where any condition, device or practice which in connection with the potable water supply system has the Potential to cause death.
